Welcome to the second part of our avian adventure, you did not have to take the fall session to join this class!
This session, students will spread their wings and soar into the fascinating world of our feathered friends that are close to home and around the world. Students will discover the incredible diversity of bird species that inhabit our planet. Through interactive lessons and creative projects, we delve into the wonders of bird anatomy, behavior, migration, and adaptation.
Whether they're crafting, studying bird calls, or learning about conservation efforts, students will develop a deeper appreciation for these remarkable creatures and their vital role in our ecosystem. Join us as we take flight into the captivating world of birds!
Topics Covered: bird identification, habitats, birdwatching tips, anatomy, and much more.
Projects: Nature art journal that students will create detailed artwork of many different species and write down their observations, following in the footsteps of great naturalists like John James Audubon and Roger Tory Peterson.
