This course provides people with greater understanding about drugs and alcohol and shows the importance of why organisations carry out regular testing on their employees. It looks at the physical and mental effects of drugs and alcohol, the different types of testing used and how drugs and alcohol are detected using these different types of testing. It also demonstrates the lengths of time various drugs and alcohol stay in the body and the detection rates found in the different testing systems used as well as the consequences of an employee found to have a positive test result on both their work and home life.
This course is CPD accredited and is worth 3 CPD points
