MOSAIC engage - CLBPT

Canadian Language Benchmarks are a national, standardized system of measuring a person’s English language proficiency in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing English. The results can be used for placement into language training programs or workplace training programs with a language component. CCLB is also used for BC Health Care Assistant Program. We use the CLBPT remote format to deliver CLBPT Online.

IMPORTANT:

• If you have taken the CLBPT before you must wait 3-months from your test date to retake the test
  

• The CLBPT is NOT accepted by Citizenship and Immigration Canada

• You can't use the CLBPT for unapproved purposes.

Inappropriate uses of the CLBPT include:

·        Entry into non-benchmarked college or university programs.

·        Exit assessment from any program.

·        Proof of language proficiency for immigration and/or Citizenship.

·        Proof of language proficiency for employment purposes.

 Proof of language progression during a language training period to inform reports to funders.

• You must have an excellent knowledge of usage of Computer and Laptop as it's completely based on your abilities to tackle technicality. We are not responsible if the candidate is unable to join the session due to lack of technical knowledge or internet issues.

• ​For Test Transfer/Cancellation requests made less than 11 days but more than 5 days from the Test Date (excluding the Test Date), charges will be $20

• Test date transfers/cancellations are not acceptable within 5 days from the test day (excluding the test date)

You will receive your confirmation email the day before your test by 4:00pm.​ CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNKMAIL for the confirmation email.

CLBPT online rules of use:

1. We reserve the right to reject entrance to anyone who arrives late for their test.

2. Do not register or create an account with any online forum, platform, or website to practice for this test 2 weeks prior to the CLBPT Test. We reserve the right to decline your entrance into the test if we find otherwise.

3.We reserve the right to decline you entrance into the test if your purpose of taking CLBPT is not amongst the approved purposes by CCLB. Please note: CCLB, licensed CLBPT assessment centres and certified CLBPT language assessors are not liable when results are used for purposes outside the scope of the tool.

4. Please only use a desktop or laptop for the test.
