I took the intaglio printmaking class with Maxine. What an informative & organized teacher. I felt less hesitant to try out something new to me in such an inviting space. I’d definitely recommend this class & the studio to anyone wanting to widen their creative methods. I left feeling more confident about what each tools purpose was.
Maxine is a great teacher, she breaks everything down really clearly and creates a good atmosphere for learning.
What a perfect introduction to screen printing! The studio was well set up and fully prepared for the class. Maxine is a terrific teacher giving a clear overview of printmaking in general and the specifics of how the NPS studio works and is optimally maintained. Her enthusiastic, well-informed, and patient step by step guidance in creating our first two-color print was greatly appreciated. Studio assistant Nick was helpful throughout. Given this very positive first experience, I look forward to attending more workshops and supporting NPS!
Our instructor Maxine was knowledgeable and patient and helped us get the hang of things. She’s great!
