Ever wondered what makes some people such great outdoor leaders? Want to lead your own trip but feel a little intimidated by being called “leader”? This instructional course is delivered to you from the comfort of your own home via Zoom, a video conferencing platform. A private Zoom invitation will be sent to you a few days in advance. Course curriculum includes an introduction to leadership styles, managing group dynamics, risk management, decision making, trip planning and execution, and teaching methods. The program will be led by one or more of ADK’s Education Department staff.
