    2. To train those interested in furthering their understanding of Gentle Teaching with additional knowledge and hands on tools that will challenge their ability to think creatively, self-analyze and strengthen their understanding of other peoples’ (person served) perspectives.

Transitions & Structure

The interactive two-part session seeks to address some of the most frequently asked questions within a Culture of Gentleness. This session focuses on the challenge of transitions in a person’s life and how a caregiver can recognize opportunities to lessen these difficult moments to create a positive outcome for the people they support. These same skills are necessary for the implementation of daily structure in the lives of those supported; this is facilitated through positive, relationship-based interactions that maintain trust.
