1st-3rd Art (Thursdays) - Part 2

Ages: 1st-3rd Grades

1st-3rd Art is focused on guiding students through a wide range of art concepts. Students will expand on existing skills, build confidence, and explore new ideas over the course of 8 class periods. Projects are specifically designed to accommodate students of all skill levels and can be adjusted accordingly to meet each student's specific needs.

Rhea Fitzgerald, a current Upper Elementary Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Art teacher at Blanco River Academy (BRAc) in Wimberley, has taught and exhibited her own work throughout the Midwest, the South, and Texas. “My teaching goal has always been to make the classroom interesting for students. I like to blend subjects together and also make the studies relevant to life outside the classroom. As much as possible, I want the students to be active participants in their education.” Outside of school she loves to hang out with the grandkids, read, play with legos, go to the beach, and work in her home studio.
