Intermediate Crochet - Level 2: Granny Squares
INTERMEDIATE CROCHET – Level II, CROCHET GRANNY SQUARE
Ready to learn how to crochet a Granny Square?
Once you’ve learned how to crochet a square, you’ll be able to take on garment making and blanket patterns we’ve seen populating all our socials. Skills you will learn include working in flat rounds, back and forth, the granny stitch, magic ring, changing colours, and a few ways to seam squares together.
Please review the list of materials required below.
Skill Level Needed: Beginner Crochet Level 3 - have a solid understanding of the ch stitch, dc stitch, and sl st join.
Please bring: 4.5 mm hook, plus one or two sizes smaller/larger depending on the tightness of your stitch tension. Two – three removable stitch markers, scissors, darning needle.
Materials Included: 50 g worsted weight Numana Yarns, scrap yarn for seaming.
Homework: bring listed materials, a notebook and pen (optional) if you want to take additional notes, and extra worsted weight yarn to make more squares, if time permits.
Please note the classroom is upstairs (14 steps).
