Class Description: Caring for your wellbeing sometimes seems like just another task on a long list of things that you and your library colleagues need to do. However, when you let go of your preconceived notions and think differently about wellbeing, you and your colleagues can continue to do the good work you’re doing while paying attention to your own needs, too. This type of wellbeing practice helps library teams boost their productivity, cultivate resilience, and become more engaged with their work and the communities they serve. Join us as we explore concepts of flexibility, autonomy, respect, and life-work harmony, and think about how you can make positive changes in your work life and empower those around you to do the same.

Important: This workshop is designed to be as engaging and interactive as an in-person workshop and includes individual and group activities, discussion, and hands-on practice, and participants should plan to have a microphone enabled and cameras on to participate. Because of the interactivity of the training, we ask that you plan to be fully present during the entire workshop and that you join individually on your own device though others from your library may also be registered. This enables you to be able to get the most out of the workshop and respects all participants’ time and efforts. Taking time to prepare and be fully present is all part of our wellbeing. Thank you!
