Shakespeare Kids

Swords and Shakespeare 

No previous experience is necessary!

In this program, students will learn stage combat and work on a fun Shakespeare scene with acting technique for performance and incorporate the combat & swords into the scene. Through physical and theatrical exercises, students will learn how to create and develop a character, understand Shakespeare and use their voices and bodies to tell this great story. This class is a safe and supportive atmosphere where students are encouraged to make bold acting choices while learning teamwork and gaining confidence. Students will also get a great workout!
