Spring Break Art Adventure Camp - Celebrating Global Festivals - Ages 5-8

Join us for an exciting week of creativity and cultural exploration as we dive into the vibrant traditions of holidays and festivals from around the world! In this immersive art camp, we’ll celebrate festivals like Holi, Día de los Muertos, and others through a variety of artistic activities.Throughout the week, we will focus on different celebrations and create unique art pieces inspired by their rich histories and colorful symbols. Campers must be age 5 and be enrolled in kindergarten on the first day of camp. Campers must not be older than age 8 on the first day of camp.

Art Adventure Camps are filled with fun and creative art projects. We only use the highest quality 2D and 3D mediums to give your child the best art experience. Our art instructors are graduates of the University of Michigan School of Art and Design and have studied abroad at SACI in Florence, Italy.

Camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm Monday-Friday. Please check your camper in by 8:55 am. Pick up promptly at 4 pm. We do not offer before or after care for campers.

Parking is located in the lot behind the studio and limited parking on Michigan Avenue at the front entrance to the studio.

Campers should bring a nut-free lunch, 2 snacks, and a refillable water bottle with a lid. Campers’ first and last names should be on all personal belongings. Food may not be shared among campers.

Campers should bring sunblock, sneakers, and sun hats for outside break time, weather permitting.

The paint we use can leave stains, so campers should wear old clothing or bring along a smock or an old t-shirt that may be left at the studio. Campers should also wear comfortable closed toed shoes.

On the last day of camp, parents are invited to the studio at 3 pm for an “art show.” This is a special time for campers to share their work with their parents, grandparents, siblings, etc., and an opportunity for you to speak to our instructors.

We welcome all aspiring artists of all ages and abilities. However, if your child requires additional assistance or needs individualized attention, please call the studio before you enroll your child in group lessons. Artists must be able to follow directions and work independently. Thank you.

Please carefully review our cancellation/transfer policies. https://whitepinestudios.org/art-adventure-camps/

This camp has been wonderful for my 10 year old. She got to experiment with various mediums and was proud of her creations (and so were we!). The camp strikes a nice balance by varying activities to keep all the campers engaged.
