Session Type - Open - While these tiers are open to all athletes without an evaluation, athletes and parents must select the right level. Choosing a tier too high can hinder progress for athletes and their peers. 

Session Level - Basic (Grades 7-10, Beginners with Some Experience)

• Who is it for? Athletes in Grades 7-10 with at least one year of organized volleyball team experience OR completion of 5+ NexGen sessions OR attendance at one four-day academy camp.
• Focus: Building on the NexGen foundation by introducing the seven essential skills:
  • Serving
  • Passing
  • Setting
  • Attacking
  • Blocking
  • Defense
  • Gameplay

Session focus: The main focus will be volleyball, but each coach has the freedom to design the session to adapt to the volleyball needs of most of the registered group.
