FDIC International offers some of the top training and education courses for the fire and rescue service. Learn the latest technology and techniques in our Hands-on Training (H.O.T.) Evolutions, Pre-Conference Workshops, Classroom Sessions, and Women in Fire Conference.

Details

  • Fire Services will cover the cost of airfare, accommodations, conference fees, and meals (in accordance with council policy limits), as well as wages for each day of conference training. Wages will not be paid for travel days.

Pre-Requisites

  • Active instructor role and regular involvement in the delivery of training within Parkland County Fire Services,
  • Minimum 2 years instructional experience (some exceptions may be considered),
  • Satisfactory attendance to training and calls as per SOG in Q1 2025,
  • Minimum 21 years of age,
  • Valid passport and eligibility to travel into the United States,
  • NFPA 1001 Level 1 and Level 2 Certification (some exceptions may be considered).

Preferred

  • Active in a Lead Instructor role for the 2025,
  • Successful completion of NFPA 1041 Level 1 Fire Service Instructor
