Glass Fusion is the ART of making a design with Glass on Glass through the process of using a kiln to melt two or more pieces of glass together to fuse them. In this workshop you will learn basic skills and techniques in glass cutting and fused glass design.
In this workshop we will be creating a gorgeous decorative "Wave". Your "wave" will begin as a clear flat 4x12-inch piece of glass ready for your one of a kind design. Placed in the kiln, the glass is then slumped into an elegant wave configuration, creating a dynamic free-standing piece. The wave design adds a sense of movement and fluidity, allowing light to interact with the colors and patterns in unique ways from every angle. Perfect as a centerpiece or decorative accent.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This workshop is scheduled for Friday, January 17th. However, in the event of inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for Friday, January 24th. By registering, you confirm your availability for both dates, as workshops with visiting instructors are non-refundable for any reason after registration. Thank you for your understanding.
