ITEC'S 30-hour Heat Pump Installation course is tailored specifically for installation technicians to provide deeper understanding of the application, design, and installation best practices for both new installations and retrofit application
Graduates of this course will satisfy the training requirements for contractors to apply for participation an an approved Air Source Heat Pump Installer and will receive the certificates below allowing them to have their customers apply for utility rebates.

This course will cover Air Source Heat Pumps, legacy and traditional split systems and move to the modern high SEER Ductless and Multi Head Systems.
Through hands-on application, students will utilize the mini-split lab to perform several installations across a multitude of configurations. At the end of the course, students will have the skill set to successfully install a 1:1 or 2:1 system
Class hours: 930-5 Tuesday - Thursday, 930-130 Friday
