With a focus on improving accessibility for students with disabilities, we will explore tips for designing inclusive digital environments and provide actionable strategies for making course text and documents materials more accessible.
In this session, attendees will:
- Identify the key federal laws that govern accessibility in online education
- Describe their key responsibilities regarding accessibility as instructors
- Compare examples of accessible vs. non-accessible documents
- Recognize the importance of proper heading structures
- Use alt text for images
