Boating Skills and Seamanship: The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary's Boating Skills and Seamanship (BS&S) course is an excellent course designed for both the experienced and novice boater covering a broad range of boating topics. The course consists of seven core required two hour lessons, plus five elective lessons providing up-to-date knowledge for handling boats under all conditions.
Note: This course has been downgraded to a seminar course and no longer carries a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) certification or a Boaters Safety Certificate.
