The Sewing Labs

Enroll in our one-session course dedicated to fundamental operator skills and safety practices for the Industrial Straight Needle sewing machine. Under the guidance of Lindsey Ryan, our Industrial Instructor, you'll acquire essential knowledge to operate the machine effectively and safely.

In this course, you will learn:

• Proper threading techniques and adjustments tailored for various fabrics
  
• Mastery of tension control for optimal stitch performance
  
• Needle and foot replacements, along with critical machine maintenance procedures

Completion of this course is mandatory before renting an industrial machine at The Sewing Labs. Given the limited availability, we encourage you to secure your spot by signing up in advance. The class is regularly offered to accommodate your schedule and rental plans.

In the event of winter weather affecting class schedules, we prioritize the safety of our students and staff. If there are any changes or cancellations due to inclement weather, we will notify you promptly. By 6 am on the affected day, an email will be sent to all registered students containing important updates.
