Our junior league is a staple to summer breaks of the kids. We’ve learned through the years that learning golf is best done on the golf course. Unlike other golf courses, we see juniors as welcome patrons and encourage them to get out and PLAY. The league is unstructured (but supervised) play. Rules, etiquette, hundreds of practice balls - boring. Learning enough to improve, then get out and have some freedom with your friends on the course!

Join Our Par 3 League!

The Par-3 Junior League is open to boys and girls ages 9-16. The league runs Monday through Friday, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, for 10 weeks. Sign up for your preferred day of the week and choose your preferred tee time. Each participant will have a consistent standing tee time all summer long. Don’t have a full foursome? No problem – sign up as a group or pair, and we’ll do our best to match participants based on age and skill.

FREE Golf for Juniors

With our Junior League, your child gets more than just a weekly tee time – they get a FREE Summer Membership to play at three local golf courses: Gem Lake Hills, Applewood Hills, and The Shorty at Oak. Play 9 holes every day, seven days a week, for FREE during the summer months (June through August). And, if a parent plays alongside them, they can enjoy the course too. (Note: When juniors play on their own, play is restricted to junior-friendly times.)

Key Details:

• Age Requirement: Children must be at least 9 years old.
• Equipment: Juniors must bring their own golf clubs (clubs are not provided).
• Duration: Ten weeks of golf.
• Included Perks: A Gem Lake Hills t-shirt and FREE golf at Applewood, Gem Lake Hills, and Oak Glen Shorty June-August.
