The Event: ART AFTERNOON OUT - Kick-Arse Word Art

Sometimes you don't want to make pretty art - you want to create something with attitude, or express a big bold idea, or just write your favourite swear word on a canvas.

Welcome to Kick Arse Word Art!

• Use our letter templates to create your own word based art work outlines- it's like a meme but better!
• Pick your colours or mix your own custom ones
• Spend a fun afternoon painting your art work - this project is super easy, basically colouring in with paint and then a few magic tricks to make the end result clean and professional looking!

This is paint and sip, the Wild Learning way: Our step by step process makes painting fun and you get to create something totally personalised.

You get plenty of instruction and support so you know how to create your artwork, with lots of freedom to be creative, relax and paint at your own pace while you chat to friends and other painters or visit the bar

Qirkz in the Hunter is a licenced venue with a fabulous bar - so you can purchase wine, beer, cider, spirits and cocktails, soft drink or amazing coffee to enjoy during your painting session - come early or stay late to make it a fabulous night out!

Emmie has managed to combine a deep love of art, sewing, singing, flamingos and all things gold into a career as an artist, community arts worker and owner of creative studio Wild Learning. Her teaching style is big on generating creative energy and helping people find their own unique art experience. With a focus on a warm, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, absolute beginners and experienced creatives find Emmie's classes like a soft place to land in a world that sometimes feels too spikey.
