This one day online training is excellent for all staff in understanding and gaining strategies to support marginalised students. Learn simple strategies that transform your thinking and relationships with some of your most challenging and vulnerable students displaying anger, withdrawal, non attendees, attitude plus and non engagers.
The session provides knowledge and resources regarding marginalised students, families, and communities, as well as loss, grief, and trauma. Australian and international best practice school wide strategies will be provided to help build student and staff wellbeing and aid your school community's recovery from the pandemic and natural disasters. The session will be interactive and lots of discussion and opportunities for questions. It will also help you identify the many students who may quietly fly undetected under the radar. This training is a must to ensure equity of opportunity for all students to thrive in education.
