Discover the Art of Shibori, while learning the fundamentals of this traditional Japanese fabric dyeing method. Create custom dyed pieces while exploring a variety of resist dyeing techniques using natural fabrics. Fold, twist, and knot the fabric to create beautiful patterns. Experiment with the Arashi method (wrapping cloth around a pole) to create striped patterns. Each unique piece holds an element of mystery and surprise as you open your folds and twists, and see the beautiful patterns emerge! Each participant will dye a variety of 4 pieces.

Adults/Teens, Materials included: All levels: This class is suitable for both beginners and those with experience interested in learning more dyeing techniques.
