Ages: Rising 2nd-4th Grades

School's out but ARTSPACE is in session. Kids will love this camp, centered around high-quality visual art projects and science! Join Jennifer Enloe and Jennifer Martin, who bring years of high-quality fine arts and science education experience to the ARTSPACE classroom. Enloe will lead students through a variety of art media including paper quilling inspired by the work of artist Yulia Brodskaya and the collage techniques of beloved author and illustrator, Eric Carle. Martin will introduce students the world of science through hands on exploration. Throughout the day, students will break for outdoor and social time. You'll be blown away by the art the kids create and the experiments they perform by the end of the week!

All projects are specifically designed to accommodate students of all skill levels and can be adjusted accordingly to meet each student's specific needs. No prior art or science experience is needed.

Jennifer Enloe has been teaching art for 24 years, to elementary, high school, and college students. She has her BA in art and MA in teaching from Austin College.

Jennifer Martin has taught Kinder-4th grade in Austin ISD, Del Valle ISD, and at the American School in Guadalajara, Mexico. She has a masters in Education Administration and is currently teaching Kindergarten at Maplewood Elementary in central Austin.
