4th-6th Ceramics & Printmaking + Improv - Summer Camp
4th-6th Ceramics & Printmaking + Improv - Summer Camp
Art Instructor: Laura Greene
Improv Instructor: Mickey May
Ages: Rising 4th-6th Grades
School's out but ARTSPACE is in session. This camp is perfect for kids who love hands on creating and performance! Laura will lead students through a variety of ceramics and printmaking projects. Mickey will teach students the fundamentals of short form improv with a focus on collaborative story telling and character work. Campers will work together to feel confident in their creative brains and performance skills. Throughout the day, students will break for outdoor and social time. You'll be blown away by the art created and skills developed by the end of the week!
All projects are specifically designed to accommodate students of all skill levels and can be adjusted accordingly to meet each student's specific needs. No prior art or theater experience is needed.
Laura is a professional artist with over 20 years teaching experience. She currently offers private lessons and is a regular projectART instructor.
Mickey is an ATX based improvisor, educator, and writer. She teaches with The Hideout Theatre and is a professor of instruction at Texas State University.
