Fused Glass Plant and Garden Stakes

Tuition: $65, plus a $20 materials kit fee includes a pattern; copper tubing; washer; solder; glue; two precut clear glass triangles, aprox.10” long; and fusible scrap glass. Additional glass for the large plant stake, and frit can be purchased in class, or you can bring your own.

Fused glass plant stakes are a lovely addition to a planter, flowerpot or anywhere in the garden. They’re an ever-lasting piece of happy art you can add to your yard, a bouquet of flowers, a potted plant or a gift basket. They make a great gift for any occasion!
Students will create one large plant stake using glass, and copper tubing, and two triangular plant stakes made from clear glass.
Beginners welcome! If you have not cut glass before, please come 45 minutes early for a glass cutting lesson and a brief introduction to fused glass.
Please wear closed toe shoes for safety.
