Naomi Hirahara is an Edgar Award-winning author whose light-hearted Mas Arai mysteries feature a Los Angeles gardener and Hiroshima survivor who solves crimes. Her historical mystery, Clark and Division, follows a Japanese American family’s move to Chicago in 1944 after being released from a California wartime detention center. Naomi was a reporter during the culmination of the redress and reparations movement for Japanese Americans who were forcibly removed from their homes during World War II. Join Naomi and Marrie Stone for a fun evening discussing the art of the mystery, while also delving into a few more serious topics.
