The session aims to collaboratively identify the most prominent needs of faculty and most frequently asked questions regarding the integration of Indigenous perspectives into programs across the college. Through open discussions and guided activities, participants will:

  • Share insights on challenges and opportunities for incorporating Indigenous knowledge and practices within their programs.
  • Highlight key areas where faculty support is most needed to enhance cultural competency and decolonize classroom spaces.
  • Explore introductory resources and practical steps for integrating Indigenous perspectives into curricula – this content will be directly informed by program coordinators responses to the pre-workshop survey.

This workshop is intended for Program Coordinators who wish to contribute to building a more inclusive curriculum within their disciplines and foster meaningful dialogue around the inclusion of Indigenous perspectives in education.

If you intend to join this session, the facilitators kindly ask that you please complete this pre-survey . The survey is designed to gather insights from program coordinators, which will help shape the content and approach of the upcoming workshop.

Feel free to bring your lunch (BYOL) for the in-person session.
