Stained Glass 101
Explore this timeless art form in a supportive and creative environment with artists Lindsey and Mick Riecken. You’ll learn the entire process of making your own beautiful stained glass suncatcher from start to finish—no prior experience needed!
You'll learn how to:
• Safely work on stained glass projects
• Choose and cut glass pieces
• Use a grinder to shape the pieces perfectly
• Foil, burnish, and solder designs together
• Clean, polish, and hang finished pieces
By the end of the class, you’ll have a stunning, 4"x6" stained glass suncatcher to take home, along with a new set of skills!
Important Notes:
• We will break for 20-30 minutes for lunch. Please bring your own lunch, snacks, or drinks.
• Dress comfortably and wear closed-toe shoes for safety.
Stained glass tools and supplies, for use during class, are provided with the support of Friends of the Arts, Inc.
