Drills to implement the skills that were worked on in the rapid stations.

15-20 Minute Game at the end of each session to apply the skills that were worked on with further instruction from coaching staff.

Ending every session with a coach’s roundup at the end of their session.

Final session will be a celebration showcase via a Mini Ball Hockey Tournament.

Age Criteria

11-Under* [11U (Ages 9 & 10)] Hockey Buds Program [8 weeks] is open to children who are under Eleven (11) years of age as of Dec. 31 of the current year.

We are aware that sometimes even though children may be younger than the required age group they may be able to participate in such groups at a similar level thus we can accept your child even if they are not quite 9 yrs of age.

*Children younger than Eleven (11) years of age by the start of the league may be accepted into the league or recommended for a higher age division.

Help improve on ice skills. (Ice hockey at a young age will focus more on skating where ball hockey’s emphasis is on skills through fun exercises!)
