AZ SECURITY ACADEMY

8 - hour course - 8am to 6pm will be held at 6640 W Cactus Rd Suite 110 (Tones & Bones) the northeast corner of 67th Ave and Cactus rd.

AZ DPS Unarmed Security Guard course meets and exceeds the mandatory pre-assignment training requirements to be issued a state Unarmed Guard Card. This course is required and must be completed prior to submitting a security guard license application. All training is conducted by an AZ DPS Security Guard Instructor.

Subjects to be covered are;

1. Orientation
2. Criminal Law / Laws of Arrest
3. Uniform and Grooming
4. Communications
5. Crime Scene Preservation / 1st Response
6. Ethics
7. Sexual Harassment
8. General Security Guard Procedures
9. Test

Students will receive:

• A.R.S. Title 13 (handout)
• Application for Guard License training
• Application for endorsement by Guard agency for hire
