3 Saturdays
Mar 22, 29, Apr 5
2:30 - 4 pm
Grades 5-8
Students will learn the fundamentals of relief printmaking using linoleum blocks and carving tools. They will begin by creating their own linoleum blocks, which they will then print using a printing press. Students can experiment with different ink colors and layering techniques to enhance their prints. This class is designed for young artists who are beginners or have some experience with printmaking. By the end of the class, students will have a collection of handmade prints inspired by dreams, nature, and the world around them.
