RYA RadarCourse – 1 Day - Sligo - €100

It's all about avoiding a collision!

Got a radar but no clue what all the buttons do? You’re not alone! The 1-day RYA Radar course is designed for small craft users who want to turn their onboard radar from a mysterious screen of blips into a powerful navigational tool.

With radar becoming more affordable, more boaters are installing it—but getting the best out of it requires more than just switching it on and hoping for the best. This course starts with the basics (no prior "radar whisperer" experience required) and moves on to key features like target definition, radar reflectors, display types, plotting, and—most importantly—how to use radar for navigation and avoiding expensive, inconvenient collisions.

By the end of the day, you’ll not only understand what you’re looking at, but you’ll also walk away with an RYA Radar course certificate—proof that your radar skills are officially shipshape! 🚢📡
