Hobbit Pot Glazing Class

In this workshop, you'll learn how to work with a variety of glazes as you glaze a "Hobbit"-inspired pot made in our art center, approx. 4" tall x 5" diameter! These adorable pots are perfect for small plants, but feel free to be creative and use them for berries, food, snacks, jewelry, and more, too! Instructor Yvette Tobias will teach all the basics about working with glazes, all materials and kiln firings provided. Your project will be ready to pick up within 2-4 weeks from the class date, depending on our kiln firing schedule. This workshop is for adults ages 14 and older, and perfect for beginners! It also makes a great group activity! (For those with younger children, please check out our Kids & Family classes!)

Please Note:

• Tuition is due with registration unless other arrangements are made. If you cancel 0-7 days before the class start date, we are able to refund your tuition ONLY if we can fill your space from our waitlist. We are not able to issue partial refunds or transfer your registration to another class. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we cannot under ANY circumstances refund your tuition once you have started the classes.
• Art is a messy business! Please bring an apron or wear work clothes and shoes that can get dirty with clay/paint/etc.
• Leave your rings, smartwatches, and jewelry at home. Main Exhibit Gallery & Art Center is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
  
• We ask that you pick up your projects within 2 weeks of your notification that they're ready. We have so many classes that our space can get quite full with students' work! Any pots left behind after 2 weeks without prior arrangements will be added to our "Adopt a Pot" shelf in our main gallery space.
