Fused Glass Shamrock

Friday, March 14: 5:30-6:30 PM

Learn the basics of cutting glass by making one (1) fused glass panel OR nightlight featuring a three-leaf shamrock! Each panel will be approx. 5.25 x 5.25" and each nightlight will be approx. 4 x 4". Nightlight fixtures, but not bulbs, are included with the class for those who choose this option. Artist Mandy Sirofchuck will go over working with glass safely. Your projects will then be "fused" in our glass kiln, meaning there is no use of metals or soldering in this class, and are typically ready to pick up within 2 days. This is perfect for beginners, or those with some experience looking for a fun project to do with other creative people! Class size is limited to 8 people, ages 14 and older, ensuring a high level of attention. We require 3 to run the class. All materials provided.

Please Note:

• Tuition is due with registration unless other arrangements are made. If you cancel 0-7 days before the class start date, we are able to refund your tuition ONLY if we can fill your space from our waitlist. We are not able to issue partial refunds or transfer your registration to another class. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we cannot under ANY circumstances refund your tuition once you have started the classes.
• Art is a messy business! Please bring an apron or wear work clothes and shoes that can get dirty with clay/paint/etc. Closed shoes required when working with glass.
• Leave your rings, smartwatches, and jewelry at home. Main Exhibit Gallery & Art Center is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
  
• We ask that you pick up your projects within 2 weeks of your notification that they're ready. We have so many classes that our space can get quite full with students' work!
