Sligo Art History Trip

Join me for a jam packed day of exploring the art collections of Sligo with a visit to Lissadell house and church as well as a guided tour of the fabulous Niland Collection at the Model.

Date: Thursday June 19^th

Provisional Itinerary

10:15 am Meet at Sligo Train Station

Private Bus to Lissadell approx. 20 mins

11 am                Tour of Lissadell house

12 pm                Lunch at the Tea Room Lissadell (pay separately)

1 pm                   Visit separate exhibition space

2 pm                  Tour of Lissadell Church – An Túr Gloine stained glass windows

2:40 pm             Private Bus to The Model approx. 20 mins

3 pm                   Visit The Model – The Niland collection

5 pm Finish

5:30 pm             Optional group dinner (pay separately, let me now if you will attend)

Travel Notes:

Please organise your own travel to Sligo, for those from Dublin the train from Connolly at 7 am should get you there just in time, however if you could come the night before it would be best just in case the train is delayed. I can set up a Whats-app group in advance if you would like to coordinate with other travellers.

Travel by private bus when we are together.

Accommodation and travel to Sligo are not included

Refunds will only be given if I cancel the trip and will not cover your travel to Sligo or any accommodation.

T&C: Please pay in full by April 1^st 2025 after which time there will be no refund (please have your own travel insurance).

If you cancel before April 1^st 2025 you will receive a full refund.

N.B. Please do not book any non-refundable accommodation etc before confirmation on April 1^st as I will need a minimum number of travellers to run the trip.
