Are you due to renew your First Response Emergency Care (FREC) Level 3 qualification? Our three-day FREC Level 3 Refresher course is designed specifically for those who already hold a valid Qualsafe Level 3 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) and are looking to refresh their knowledge and requalify.

This refresher course is aimed at:

• Event medics and first responders
• Security and close protection personnel
• TV and film set medics
• Fire and rescue professionals
• Anyone required to maintain a valid FREC Level 3 for professional practice

Learners must provide evidence of a current, in-date FREC Level 3 qualification before attending.

What the Course Covers:

Delivered by experienced frontline clinicians, this course ensures your skills are current and aligned with the latest best practice. Topics covered include:

• Scene safety and patient assessment
• Management of catastrophic haemorrhage
• Airway management including adjuncts and suction
• CPR, AED usage and advanced life support protocols
• Trauma care including burns, fractures, spinal injuries and soft tissue trauma
• Recognition and management of medical emergencies (e.g. asthma, stroke, diabetes, anaphylaxis)
• Minor illness and injury management
• Communication, documentation and teamwork in pre-hospital settings

You’ll complete both practical and theoretical assessments to revalidate your qualification under Qualsafe Awards.
