Refund policy:
Registration payments are refundable for cancellations made by June 5th, minus a $35 administrative fee. After that date we will refund you only if we can fill your spot, minus a $50 admin fee. The only exception is if you cancel due to contagious illness. We will refund you completely minus a $35 admin fee if you contact us before the event to let us know. We support you staying home to care for yourself and not sharing the contagion!
Sliding Scale, Equity Ticketing & Donations:
We are a young event in our third year. We are intentionally keeping registration costs as low as possible to reduce financial barriers to attendance. However, there are naturally costs to put on this event. Please be as generous as possible on the sliding scale, and consider donating to our scholarship and equity fund if you are able! A portion of every registration is earmarked toward equity tickets, and we are aiming to gather additional funds to ensure a robust equity offering.
We are choosing to offer discounts to people of the global majority (BIPOC), who both historically and presently have less access to wealth than people considered White. And we'd like to be able to offer general scholarship support as needed too.
Partial attendance:
Discounts are not given for partial attendance, and we do not have a day rate. We prefer folks to stay on-site as that helps create a sense of being a temporary village. That said, if you need to commute or arrive late or leave early it’s ok.
Event cancellation policy:
We live in an uncertain world. In the extremely unlikely event that something crazy happens (fire, global pandemic etc) and the event must be cancelled last minute, all registrants will receive a full refund, minus up to $50. We are asking everyone to share the risk together, so that the organizers won’t be left personally liable for whatever money may already have been spent up front.
Laurence Cole will be offering a special session on Thursday before the full event begins, from 2-5:30pm Registration is separate.
