For teens 13-18 | July Wednesdays | 5:00-6:30 PM
Through a combination of sketching and painting exercises, students will develop their ability to capture movement, structure, and emotion in their work. We will explore a variety of techniques, from quick gestural sketches to refined figure studies in charcoal, ink, and paint. Emphasis will be placed on observation, dynamic mark-making, and the interplay of light and shadow to bring figures to life.
By the end of the course, students will have a deeper understanding of the human form and the confidence to express it through both drawing and painting. Whether you're aiming for realism or abstraction, this course provides the tools and inspiration to develop your own artistic voice.
