🔧 AR-15 Build Class – Hands-On Rifle Assembly Experience
Ever wanted to build your own AR-15 from the ground up? Join us for an immersive, hands-on AR-15 Build Class where you’ll learn how individual components come together to form a fully functional rifle.
This guided class walks you step-by-step through the assembly process, giving you practical knowledge that carries over to future builds, upgrades, and maintenance. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a solid armorer’s foundation and confidence in your rifle.
What You’ll Learn:
- Complete AR-15 assembly from parts to finished rifle
- Understanding AR-15 components and how they function together
- Proper field stripping and cleaning techniques
- Knowledge that applies to future builds and upgrades
Class Details:
- Location: Classroom upstairs overlooking the Idaho Guns & Outdoors Athol showroom
- Class Size: Limited to 10 participants
- Deposit: $25 (non-refundable, transferable to another class)
- Kit Cost: $500 (paid at least 10 days prior to class)
- Must be 21 years old to purchase a kit
***18-19 & 20 Year Olds***
Those who are 18-19 or 20 years old are able to purchase a pre-built rifle sold by Idaho Guns & Outdoors Athol, price will be the same, difference will be the following:
The pre-built rifle will be used in class, we will disassemble that rifle, reassemble it, learn the inner workings of your rifle, all the while complying with State of Idaho Law, Federal Law, and ATF requirements.
Trey & Nate can help you with getting your pre-built rifle ready for class.
Youth may attend with a parent who has purchased a kit.

Ask for Trey or Nate to assist with your purchase and transfer
- Purchase your AR-15 parts kit from Idaho Guns & Outdoors Athol
- Your kit will be ready and waiting for you on class day
What to Bring:
- AR-15 wrench
- Punch set with hammer
- Needle-nose pliers
- Crescent wrench
- Eye protection
- Small flathead screwdriver
- Valid Government ID, ie Idaho drivers license
(Limited tools will be available to share. Most tools can be found on Amazon.)
Optics and iron sights are welcome. Upgraded parts may be used but are not included in the kit price and are non-refundable.

REFUND POLICY:
The $25 deposit is non-refundable, the $500 fee that is paid directly to Idaho Guns & Outdoors Athol will not be refunded, but can be transferred to another purchase.
