North Idaho Firearms Training

Learn how to build your very own AR-15. Start by registering for this class, pay the deposit of $25, then day of class complete your purchase of the full parts kit from Idaho Guns & Outdoors Athol. The remaining amount of $500 will need to be paid 10 days prior to class starting. On the day of class, your purchased kit will be ready for you in my classroom located upstairs overlooking the showroom floor.

We will walk through taking gun parts and turning them into a fully functional rifle. This class is intended to teach you how to build your own AR-15, that will translate into knowledge for your next build, and how to upgrade your build.

Needed for Class: AR-15 wrench, punch set w/ hammer, needle nose pliers, crescent wrench, eye protection, and small flathead screwdriver. All of these items are available on Amazon. I will have several sets of tools, however they may need to be shared.

You can bring most any optics for your rifle, to include flip up iron sights. You are permitted to purchase upgraded parts, however, those parts will be in addition to the kit. For example should you want to upgrade the adjustable stock, you can purchase an upgraded stock, bring that item to class, attach it to you build, and have the included stock as a spare. Parts will not be bought back or exchanged.

This class will give you a basic armorers understanding, and teach you how to properly field strip and clean your rifle.

After registering for class, you will need to purchase your kit from Idaho Guns & Outdoors Athol. Ask for Trey or Nate (managers) they will facilitate your purchase and transfer.

Kits must be purchased in advance, and at least 10-14 days prior to class, unless other arrangements have been made prior.

YOUTHS WANTING TO ATTEND WITH A PARENT, WHO HAS PURCHASED A KIT MAY DO SO.
