Tab setting, which is also known as turtle setting, a simple concept to set a stone without using traditional soldering techniques. Learn the basics of regular and inverted tab stone settings to create a pendant or simple ring. Jump in and design your piece, pierce it out, add design elements, anneal (if needed), finish and set your stone all in three hours! Bring your own flat-backed cabochon stones or use the ones provided in class. Get your cabochons ready and let’s get tabbing. If you want to work with sterling silver, it can be purchased in class. No experience necessary. Held in Classroom 2.
