Teens and tweens can end their week in this relaxed and fun drawing workshop on Friday afternoons! Our small, personalized series of classes (4 weeks) will focus on drawing basics which include learning how to “see” and simplify shapes, draw contours and understand light and shade. While we build our skills weekly, students will develop confidence creating images, forms, and shapes using various mediums through observation, hand-eye coordination, and understanding of concepts like form, proportion, and perspective. Students can choose personal objects to arrange into a still life and have time for free draw and discussion an out the practice of keeping a sketchbook.
All supplies included, but students are encouraged to bring their own sketchbook.
