INTERNATIONAL COACH WORKSHOP - 10 AND UNDER COACH DIPLOMA

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Course description: A two-day International Coach Workshop which will provide you with the coaching skills and ideas to work with young players aged 10 and under at grassroots level in your Red, Orange and Green programmes. You’ll also get some great takeways on how to organise your group, and games and drills to bring your group lessons to life.

Course duration: 2 days, with each day consisting of 6 hours on court, including breaks

Course learning outcomes:

• Understand how to get young players to play the game through key rally skills from the first lesson
• Understand what to teach and how to teach it at Red, Orange and Green
• Understand the key competencies required to know when to progress players from Red to Orange and from Orange to Green
• Learn how to develop key strokes (serve, groundstrokes, volleys) at a young age, and know how to develop these strokes as the players develop
• Take away great ideas, teaching points, games and drills to use with your young players

Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance and the Coach Central International 10 and Under Coach Diploma if they attend both days of the workshop in full.

ABOUT YOUR PRESENTER

Mark is Founder and Director of Coach Central International, a UK-based worldwide coach education provider. Mark is an experienced and sought-after international tennis coach educator, speaker and consultant, who has worked with coaches from over 100 countries around the world. Mark previously worked at the ITF and the LTA (UK), and has presented in conferences in over 80 countries, including ITF Worldwide Coaches Workshops, and Grand Slam conferences in the UK and Australia.

As presenter of this workshop, Mark will share his experience, ideas and insight in key topics in coaching, leaving you with a wide range of ideas and solutions which you can implement into your programme immediately.
