Christian Walking Club

Spend post Christmas and New Year in the central Lake District with Christian fellowship and fun. We will be staying at Rydal Hall https://www.rydalhall.org/, with its wonderful views and grounds and near to Ambleside village. There are walks from the hall’s doorstep as well as other walks nearby - and lots of places to visit.

The walks offered each day will be of all grades, including a leisurely grade. The leisurely grade will consist of short walks on easy terrain at a leisurely place, with time for tea shops and visits to places of interest etc. As with all grades, the programme is dependent on the weather, though the Lake District does offer a lot of bad weather alternatives - including spending some of the daytime in Rydal Hall....the Drawing Room has been allocated as CWC's own space for the period of the event.

All the rooms are all en-suite. The rooms are mainly twin rooms, but there are a couple of single rooms at a higher price. The prices includes full board (lunch will be packed lunches).

One thing the weather cannot affect is the special time of fellowship with new and past friends. Come and join us.

We have only booked 20 spaces. It maybe possible to book further spaces, but this cannot be guaranteed. We expect this to be a popular event, so it is advisable to book soon. PRICES ARE FROM £420PP FOR 5 NIGHTS

Update; Rydal Hall have been able to release more rooms. We have 28 bookings already, but there is still room....but NOT FOR LONG!

Please book AND pay by 7th November....CWC has to pay Rydal not long after that date. Also, it makes the life of the leader and the finance team easier! If there are rooms available after that date we might be able to take more bookings until 30 November....but you risk there not being any room. Note your rooms are not fully booked until you have booked with the code AND PAID. For any bookings from now on, full payments will need to be received within 24 hours of the booking, otherwise the booking will have to be cancelled. (it is only fair for others who want to book).
