CANVAS Dance Arts

Stamina, coordination, and musicality are emphasized. Students are challenged to learn 24 - 32 count combinations at an intermediate pace and break down basic footwork skills.

Teen Classes are 60 minutes. This class is geared towards students in 6th grade and up. Unless invited by the instructor, grown-ups are asked to wait outside the dance studio.

This class is a Full Session and concludes with a stage performance.

$675 | 15 class session

Dates: Aug 18, 25, Sep 8, 15, 22, 29 Oct 6, 20, 27, Nov 3, 10, 17, Dec 1, 8, 15 (NO class Sep 1, Oct 13, Nov 24)

**Full Session performing classes participate in our Winter Recital on Saturday, December 13. Your session fee includes: recital participation and a CDA stage apparel item.

Performance Location: McKenna Theater, SF State (map)

Performance Time: TBA midway through the session. Please note siblings or dancers in two classes may participate in separate shows.

On performance day, dancers should provide their own:

• black jazz pants
• tan jazz shoes
• hair in a tight ponytail

Registration notes

• This is an advanced-beginner class. Dancers who join should have one year of dance experience in any style.
• Priority registration for the following session will be offered to currently enrolled students (Dancers enrolled in Fall receive priority for the same class in the Spring)
• Register only once, duplicate registrations will not receive a full refund
