Workshops are Non-refundable.
John will be leading us in a cityscape workshop.
Watercolor Supply List
This is a basic list of materials. Please feel free to bring the watercolor supplies you normally use.
Please bring the following to class.
1. a pencil and an eraser
2. A plastic credit card for scraping.
3. a small painting support-either a piece of cardboard or a plastic board (16x20)
4. paints: You can start with these three:
a. new gamboge or cadmium yellow
b. ultramarine blue or cobalt blue
c. vermillion or quinacridone rose
d. Payne's gray or black
Tube colors are best.
5.water container – a small quart or pint size plastic bowl
6. paper towels
7. brushes- you may want to purchase a few synthetic brushes - Simply Simmons are fine.
a. one-inch flat watercolor brush
b. a number eight or ten round watercolor brush (I will also have brushes you may try out and use in class.)
8. paper- You can bring practice paper and Arches or Strathmore watercolor paper. Any watercolor paper will do, but a better quality provides better results.
9. a small spray bottle
10. Tape to attach your paper to a support board(mentioned above)
(Cardboard, plexiglass, gatorboard, foam core, etc.)
