2025FAMILY CAMP @ CAMP Kanaka

Assalamu Alaykum and Welcome to the 2025 Family Camp!

The MVC Family Camp invites all Muslims seeking wholesome fun in an Islamic environment, Insha Allah. this residential camp spans two consecutive nights, offering participants a memorable experience.

FAMILY EVENT: Open to Muslim Brothers and Sisters of all ages (children/youth under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).

WHAT’S INCLUDED: Meals, lodging (either in cabins or inside the lodge, subject to availability), and organized activities. Campers will have ample opportunities to forge new friendships, embrace challenges, and enjoy the rejuvenating outdoors!

CAMP SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: The site boasts 2 lodges.

Lougheed Lodge (capacity 56)

• 5500 sq. ft. dormitory-style bunk beds with mattresses
• Banquet facilities for up to 54, fully equipped commercial kitchen and dishwasher, 2 fridges, upright freezer, microwave and gas range with grill
• Very large open main area with a gas fireplace in one corner
• 800 sq. ft. covered deck
• First aid room with a bed
• Two large washrooms and staff washroom with showers
• Large campfire ring with firewood supplied
• Completely wheelchair accessible

Tillicum Lodge (capacity 24)

• Dormitory-style bunk beds with mattresses and 3 double futons in the living room
• Kitchen includes dishes cooking utensils cutlery, gas stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher 
• Gas fireplace 
• Adjacent washroom building with hot and cold running water and one shower 
• Campfire ring with firewood supplied

In the "NOTE" section of the application form, specify your sleeping preferences and any desired group or individual pairing.

IMPORTANT: Campers contribute to the camp's functioning with assigned chores/tasks during the camp duration to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

CAMP FEES:

REGISTRATIONS MUST PAID IN FULL BY JUNE 30TH, 2025 TO RECEIVE EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT NO EXCEPTION:

• REGULAR CAMPERS (12 years and older): $140
• JUNIOR CAMPERS (11 years and younger, including infants, no exceptions): $110

REGISTRATIONS MADE BY OR AFTER JULY 1ST, 2025 (NO LATER THAN JULY 10, 2025):

• REGULAR CAMPERS (12 years and older): $160
• JUNIOR CAMPERS (11 years and younger, including infants, no exceptions): $120

• CASH: Alternatively, pay in cash to designated Brothers in Surrey, Richmond, Burnaby, and Vancouver. Contact us at 604.518.0606 to make arrangements.

CAMP PACKAGE: A comprehensive package containing camp directions, schedule, and a list of items to bring will be emailed exclusively to fully paid participants.
