A three-day course for PCM graduates who want to use PCM when it matters, not just understand it.
Run as a behavioural simulation in small groups, the format puts PCM under pressure and lets you train the part that's hardest to reach on your own.
PCM Practice with GemaSim is built for the gap between knowing PCM and using it. Most graduates can name the types and remember the channels. Far fewer can read a mismatch in real time, respond to a need before distress sets in, or notice their own driver before it shapes the next sentence. That skill is built through repeated practice under pressure, with feedback, in a setting where the day job has been deliberately taken away.
You will work on:
- Reading what's happening in a conversation as it unfolds, not after it's gone wrong.
- Responding to needs before distress takes hold.
- Recognising your own drivers and stepping out of them in the moment.
- Holding your channel when the room is under load.
- Inviting others out of distress without escalating the dynamic.
- Reflecting on your own patterns through feedback from peers and the trainer.
- Practising it all again, in a different scenario, until it starts to feel familiar
Prior PCM experience is required.
