Start Date: Estimated October 10, 2025
Duration: 16 weeks
Location: Fletcher Technical Community College – Schriever, LA
Format: Hybrid learning with online coursework and in-person skill sessions
🧠 Course Structure
- Online Coursework: Self-paced modules with weekly assignment deadlines
- Live Virtual Classes: 1–2 sessions weekly via Microsoft Teams (scheduling flexible)
- Skills Days: 6 full-day (8-hour) hands-on sessions — weekday scheduling with weekend options pending
- Ride-Alongs: Two 12-hour clinical shifts with Acadian Ambulance 🚑
🎒 Required Materials
- Uniform Package: Includes shirt and ID (provided)
- You’ll need: Navy or tan BDU-style pants and black tactical boots (purchased separately)
- Tech Requirements: Computer or tablet with reliable internet
- Documentation:
- Driver’s License
- BLS/CPR Certification (course available if needed)
Orientation:
A virtual orientation is scheduled for Tuesday August 5th, 2025 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Further details and access links will be sent out closer to that time. Final schedule will be completed and available at orientation
Payment Information:
Course Tuition: $2,000
Book Fee: $150 (Optional)-
Uniform Shirt & ID: $65
Total: $2,215
(IF PAID IN FULL BY SEPTEMBER 01, 2025 STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE A FREE TEXTBOOK)
A $400 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot in the class. This deposit is applied toward the total course cost. Once this form is completed an invoice will be emailed to each student. Deposits are due the first week of August 2025. Only a limited amount of seats are available.
Final payment must be made in full by October 01, 2025 at 5 PM Central time (Course estimated to begin on or around October 10th)
Invoices can be sent upon request to allow for early payments
Students who are unable to pay in full by the course start date will be refunded all payments made minus the $400 deposit
We currently do not offer financial assistance, but we do accept all major credit cards.
How to Apply for Financial Assistance via LWC for EMT Training:
1) Visit Your Local Workforce Commission Office:
Find your nearest office. (AJC):
👉 If you are interested in attending classes or training using this financial aid, you must contact the workforce development office in your area to determine your eligibility and begin the process of applying for a training account.
Schedule an appointment or walk in to speak with a Career Coach or Case Manager.
2) Request WIOA (Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act) Assistance:
Ask about WIOA funding for EMT training.
Mention that you want to attend the EMT Initial course at Trinity Education Solutions.
Bring a copy of the course information and cost breakdown (Trinity can provide this if needed).
3) Complete an Eligibility Assessment:
You’ll be evaluated based on income, employment status, residency, and other factors.
Bring required documents such as:
ID and Social Security Card
Proof of income
Proof of residence
Work history or layoff documentation (if applicable)
4) Trinity Education Solutions, LLC is listed as an Approved Training Provider :
Trinity Education Solutions is listed on the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL).
5) Wait for Funding Approval:
If approved, the LWC will issue a voucher or payment directly to Trinity on your behalf.
This may cover tuition, books, fees, and supplies.
