Course Overview
This CPD accredited 2-day Introduction to Menopause course is designed for healthcare professionals working in Primary Care and community settings who are developing their knowledge and confidence in supporting women experiencing menopause. It is particularly suitable for clinicians who regularly encounter menopausal patients and wish to build a strong foundation in menopause assessment and management.
The course provides a comprehensive, evidence-based introduction to menopause, including physiology, diagnosis, and management options such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT), non-hormonal treatments, and lifestyle interventions. Particular emphasis is placed on applying current NICE guidance, supporting safe and effective menopause care, and developing confidence in conducting structured menopause consultations.
Delivered by experienced clinicians working in Primary Care and Women’s Health services, the training focuses on practical application, clinical safety, and patient-centred care.
