Heading into adulthood can be a frustrating and emotional time for most teens and parents of teens. If you find your are in this spot, you are not alone. This class will help your teen discover who they are and how to effectively navigate life with power and success. We will explore the functions and purpose of the teen and young adult brain, and how to be proactive in managing stress. They learn foundational skills to build empathy, improve social skills, increase self-awareness and Self-regulation, and improve healthy boundaries for stronger relationships. Students will have the opportunity to work on a personal art project that reflects their emotional intelligence journey. At the end of the semester, we will have an art show to showcase each student's project.
